MIL-STD-15/2, MILITARY STANDARD: ELECTRICAL WIRING EQUIPMENT SYMBOLS FOR SHIPS' PLANS - PART 2 (30 OCT 1961) [NO S/S DOCUMENT]., The purpose of this standard is to establish a uniform system of graphic symbols for use on drawings and plans of shipboard (marine) electrical installations. Standard electrical symbol designators shown in the standard Electrical Symbol List NAVSHIPS 250-560-3 provide a means of correlating graphical symbols, when shown on drawings, with part lists and descriptions of and instructions concerning the wiring.

MIL-STD-15/2 (NOTICE 1), MILITARY STANDARD: ELECTRICAL WIRING EQUIPMENT SYMBOLS FOR SHIPS' PLANS - PART 2 (11 DEC 1989) [NO S/S DOCUMENT]., MIL-STD-15-2, dated 30 October 1961, has been reviewed and determined to be valid for use in acquisition.

MIL-STD-15/2 (NOTICE 2), MILITARY STANDARD: ELECTRICAL WIRING EQUIPMENT SYMBOLS FOR SHIPS' PLANS - PART 2 (07 JUL 1995) [NO S/S DOCUMENT]., MIL-STD-15-2 , dated 30 October 1961, is hereby canceled without replacement.

【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoverstheevaluationofautomotiveengineoils(SAEgrades5W,10W,20,30,40,and50,andmultiviscositygrades)intendedforuseinspark-ignitiongasolineengines.Thetestprocedureisconductedusingacarbureted,spark-ignitionCooperativeLubricationResearch(CLR)OilTestEngine(alsoreferredtoastheSequenceVIIItestengineinthistestmethod)runonunleadedfuel.Anoilisevaluatedforitsabilitytoprotecttheengineandtheoilfromdeteriorationunderhigh-temperatureandsevereserviceconditions.Thetestmethodcanalsobeusedtoevaluatetheviscositystabilityofmultiviscosity-gradedoils.CompaniontestmethodsusedtoevaluateengineoilperformanceforspecificationrequirementsarediscussedinthelatestrevisionofSpecificationD4485.Correlationoftestresultswiththoseobtainedinautomotiveservicehasnotbeenestablished.Furthermore,theresultsobtainedinthistestarenotnecessarilyindicativeofresultsthatwillbeobtainedinafull-scaleautomotivespark-ignitionorcompression-ignitionengine,orinanengineoperatedunderconditionsdifferentfromthoseofthetest.Thetestcanbeusedtocompareoneoilwithanother.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard,exceptfor(1)volumewhichisgiveninthemetric,butnon-SI,litre,(2)certaintubemeasurementswhicharegivenininch-poundunits,(3)cylinderboreandstrokeinbothSIandinch-poundunits(theinch-poundbeingthestandard)and(4)pistondisplacementgiveninmetric(non-SI)andinch-poundunits(theinch-poundbeingthestandard).Inrespectto(3)and(4)theinch-poundunitsareshownfirstandtheSIunitsinparentheses.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Specificprecautionarystatementsareprovidedthroughoutthistestmethod.
