【摘要】:Knowledgeofgassolubilityisofextremeimportanceinthelubricationofgascompressors.Itisbelievedtobeasubstantialfactorinboundarylubrication,wherethesuddenreleaseofdissolvedgasmaycausecavitationerosion,orevencollapseofthefluidfilm.Inhydraulicandsealoils,gasdissolvedathighpressurecancauseexcessivefoamingonreleaseofthepressure.Inaviationoilsandfuels,thedifferenceinpressurebetweentake-offandcruisealtitudecancausefoaminginstoragevesselsandinterruptflowtopumps.1.1Thistestmethodcoversaprocedureforestimatingtheequilibriumsolubilityofseveralcommongasesinpetroleumandsyntheticlubricants,fuels,andsolvents,attemperaturesbetween0and488K.1.2Thistestmethodislimitedtosystemsinwhichpolarityandhydrogenbondingarenotstrongenoughtocauseseriousdeviationsfromregularity.SpecificallyexcludedaresuchgasesasHCl,NH3,andSO2,andhydroxyliquidssuchasalcohols,glycols,andwater.EstimatingthesolubilityofCO2innonhydrocarbonsisalsospecificallyexcluded.1.3Highlyaromaticoilssuchasdiphenoxyphenyleneethersviolatethestatedaccuracyabove363K,atwhichpointtheestimatefornitrogensolubilityis43%higherthantheobservation.1.4Lubricantsaregivenpreferenceinthistestmethodtotheextentthatcertainempiricalfactorswereadjustedtothelubricantdata.Estimatesfordistillatefuelsaremadefromthelubricantestimatesbyafurthersetofempiricalfactors,andarelessaccurate.Estimatesforhalogenatedsolventsaremadeasiftheywerehydrocarbons,andaretheleastaccurateofthethree.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
