【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifies,forropesofdifferentkinds,amethodofdeterminingeachofthefollowingcharacteristics:?lineardensity;?laylength;?braidpitch;?elongation;?breakingforce.Thelineardensity,laylengthandbraidedpitcharemeasuredwiththeropeunderaspecifiedtensioncalledthereferencetension,asspecifiedinAnnexA.Theelongationcorrespondstothemeasuredincreaseinlengthoftheropewhenthetensiontowhichitissubjectedisincreasedfromaninitialvalue(referencetension)toavalueequalto50%oftheminimumspecifiedbreakingstrengthoftherope.Thebreakingforceisthemaximumforceregistered(orreached)duringabreakingtestonthetestpiece,carriedoutonatensiletestingmachinewithconstantrateoftraverseofthemovingelement.Thebreakingforcevaluesgiveninthetablesofropespecificationsareonlyvalidwhenthistypeoftestingmachineisused.Whenitisnotpossibletotestthewholesectionofrope,themethoddescribedinAnnexBcanbeused,subjecttoagreementbetweenthepartiesinvolved.ThisInternationalStandardalsoprovidesamethodformeasuringwaterrepellency,lubricationandfinishcontent,andheatsettingtreatment,whenrequestedbythecustomer.
