【摘要】:Themostdirectandaccessiblemethodsforobtainingthecolorcoordinatesofobjectcolorsarebyinstrumentalmeasurementusingspectrophotometersorcolorimeterswitheitherhemisphericalorbidirectionalopticalmeasuringsystems.Thistestmethodprovidesproceduresforsuchmeasurementbytransmittancespectrophotometryusingahemisphericalopticalmeasuringsystem.Thistestmethodisespeciallysuitableformeasurementofthefollowingtypesofspecimens(seealsoGuideE179andPracticeE805):5.2.1Fullytransparentspecimens(freefromturbidity,haze,ortranslucency),and5.2.2Translucentorhazyspecimens,providedthatthespecimencanbeplacedflushagainstthetransmissionportoftheintegratingsphere.Thistestmethodisnotrecommendedformeasurementoftransparentortranslucentretroreflectiveorfluorescentspecimens.1.1Thistestmethoddescribestheinstrumentalmeasurementofthetransmissionpropertiesandcolorofobject-colorspecimensbytheuseofaspectrophotometerorspectrocolorimeterwithahemisphericalopticalmeasuringsystem,suchasanintegratingsphere.1.2Thistestmethodisgenerallysuitableforallfullytransparentspecimenswithoutregardforthespecimenpositionrelativetothetransmissionportoftheinstrument.Translucentspecimens,however,mustbeplacedflushagainstthetransmissionportofthesphere.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
